If you would like to use the Patent Valuation Gauntlet® and have not undergone Certified Patent Valuation Analyst training, you will have to go through such training. If you have completed the CPVA training but are not in good standing, you will have to return to good standing in order to avail yourself of the Patent Valuation Gauntlet®. A. CPVAs use the Patent Valuation Gauntlet® to formulate questions to pose to inventors and patentees when preparing Patent Valuation Reports. The PVG provides patent analysts an exhaustive list of issues to consider when arriving at a patent valuation.
Q. Are CPVAs required to license the use of the Patent Valuation Gauntlet®?
A. CPVAs that would like to use the PVG seal and relate to others that their reports have been scrutinized with the Patent Valuation Gauntlet® must license the Patent Valuation Gauntlet®. Use of the Patent Valuation Gauntlet® is available only to licensees.

A. The current licensing fee is $119 per Patent Valuation Report.
